So, I installed a new Comcast modem. They said the old one was obsolete. Well, well, so somehow I got a pop up that was ruthless. It came up whenever I went to ANY website and tried to have me download Java. I have Java. It is fine.Yet this creature would tell me I had a monster virus. So I ran the virus ware, nothing. I think (fingers crossed) I have rooted it out. I thought that on Saturday as well, but it reared its ugly face again. I cannot say for sure it was the Comcast modem but it started after I activated it. Any comments/advice/cheap shots?
