So I just conducted an interesting experiment. BBC Radio 4 article 100 people a day with mental health issues losing benefits posted on Fb, so I decided to respond Another broadcast on behalf of the Labour Party. I then continue to argue that benefit reviews are a good thing in terms of saving money for wrongfully claimed benefits and ensuring those who have under-claimed are given the correct benefits, with illustrative figures from the Institute of Fiscal Studies on UK government welfare budgets. HOWLS of protest from R4 listener/posters all criticizing me, my posts, the government, the rich etc. Not one agreeing with me. Not one who even critically read my posts and responded with some kind of factual basis either. Given that people generally listen to what/who they agree with, I would say my original premise was correct.........
