So, I just finished watching 50: THE HISTORY OF THE WWE on Netflix. It was an excellent documentary for wrestling fans but three things stuck out for me: 1.) Hearing the Undertaker speaking out of character is weird. 2.) They continue to OVERSTATE the importance of D-Generation X. Yes, they were big but not nearly as big as they portray. Yes, I realize this is likely due to Triple Hs spot in the company. 3.) They really UNDERSTATED the importance of Steve Austin. That could have been a side-effect of the DX thing (making them look more important makes him look less important by default) but they really spoke very little about the man who saved their company in the late-90s.
