So, I just finished watching Love Actually for the first time. It was so cute and Christmasy and great! A few thoughts: 1. That kid is the cutest thing 2. Liam Neeson was absolutely adorable, I loved hearing his Scottish accent full-on, and it was refreshing (yet odd) to see him not be scary and murderous haha 3. Martin Freeman is adorable AS ALWAYS (Im sorry do you see a trend here?) 4. Yes, I did tear up when Colin Firth and the Portuguese girl got together b/c it was cute how they learned each others languages. And then again at the end (Yes, Im a sap. Shut up lol). 5. British people must be increadibly obsessed with body image (which I guess is in line with many of the Europeans I encountered in Spain), seeing as everyone kept discussing how fat Natalie was (which is insane. She is quite normal and curvy.) I cant help but think how aweful it must have been for the actress who played Natalie to be called fat the whole movie 6. It was both awesome and strange seeing Andrew Lincoln be normal and British after the Walking Dead thing lol 7. The most unrealistic part of the movie is that the Portuguese girl would be able to understand at least a little English. All the Portuguese people I met were able to speak it fluently, and I know that she was not from a big city, but she would at least be able to pick up a little bit. I forgave that though since the story was cuter with them falling in love despite the language barrier!
