So I just got back from the doctors. Apparently I have every symptom of mono and every symptom of strep except the white gunk down the back of my throat. So doc didnt do a strep test because he thought if it is strep its the early stages and wouldnt show up on a test. Im being treated with antibiotics in hopes that it fixes things. If they dont help then the diagnosis may be switched to mono. To top things all off my mom has apparently been experiencing all of the symptoms of mono for the past 3 weeks and hasnt told anybody because she is terrified of going to see her doc. Ive been over to visit her as well as my kids so maybe were all going to come down with it. Oh joy! :-)
