(So I just posted this to my page and *thought* Id successfully linked it here, but apparently I didnt. Grrrr. So here it is again. I will be lifting a glass to you all, especially to Karen Varcoe Novobilski, who did a terrific job of pulling it all together.) Sometimes it feels like a thousand years ago. Sometimes it feels like yesterday. But actually, it has been 30 years since my fellow Honesdale High School crew and I marched across the sweltering gymnasium to collect our diplomas and throw ourselves into the future. Today is our 30-year class reunion. I wish I could be there physically, but will have to content myself with being there in spirit instead.
