Update on surgery yesterday - dr actually performed two different surgeries - one was a chronic condition ( spinal stenosis). This is a narrowing of the spine due to so much arthritis wrapped around the spine . He cleaned out around those areas by shaving the arthritis and stretching the spinal opening. Then last Sunday, I turned wrong and pulled a disc out . It actually chipped off and was just sitting there pressing on a live nerve - talk about hurt ----- Well he got that out and now we have to wait for scar tissue to fill in the half filled disc.The only problem is I have to be soooo careful to not turn or lift wrong cause right now with that partial disc there- theres not enough support for the other discs and one of them could pop out ! Dont want that !!!right now Im in a lot of pain but Im expected to go home tomorrow .
