The OS Futaba Nitro Challenge in St Louis was a great race. The Dirt Racing track was awesome once again and the Dirt Burners crew put on a fantastic race. I qualified 3rd in truck and 5th in buggy. I was able to finish 2nd overall in Truggy after some great battles with Josh Wheeler and Ryan Lutz. Tony Bacon would finish 3rd overall after Lutz had some issues in A2. In A1 of buggy, I got a really good start and was running a strong second place behind Wheeler, ahead of Tebo, Lutz, Gosch and Taylor James. With about 2 minutes to go of the first 20 minute final, I bobbled at the end of the straight and got hit by a car, causing my car to break. In A2, I was running 4th right behind Wheeler, Tebo, and Lutz till 3 minutes left when I broke once again. I ended up 10th overall with 2 DNFs. It was a great race and I was happy that I was able to hang with some of the best drivers in the world! It felt great. My TLR 8ight 3.0 buggy and truggy were #dyled all weekend. Huge thanks to my sponsors TLR, Horizon Hobby, Spektrum, AKA, Novarossi, Rockfield Adventures, Nitrotane, Avid RC, 92zero Designs, Dynamite, and The Ohio RC Factory. Big Thanks to Christopher Gee and Jimmy Vanderhaar for their help all weekend. Congrats to both of them on their wins and finishes.
