Ive been enjoying mine for several years...I got them at a fantastic price, and they have been remarkably reliable. Ive used them for mixing and mastering here at the studio, and so far, Ive been able to turn out work that has been placed int the hands and mixes of some of the best touring DJs in the world (insert plug for MARCEL DETTMANNs Fabric mix that comes out in 2 days:). All Im saying here is simple: Expensive monitors will NOT make a difference if you dont know how to mix or master. In fact, NOTHING will make a difference without learning how to make adjustments based on environment (learning what your room does to sound and how to control it), levels (which Im still learning new techniques every time I work), and how to create a balanced mix to start with. In other words, whatever you use in the studio has to translate everywhere else. If it doesnt...very few mastering engineers can undo a bad mix (without having the individual channels.
