So I keep seeing posts comparing Rice and Roethlisberger saying things like I raped a woman and I still play/get paid(Roethlisberger) I hit my fiancé once and lose everything(Rice). Ok, as most of you should already know I dont give 2 shits about football, but this just pisses me off. First off, there is no video evidence of the rape, it was merely he said/she said, it was an accusation. Im not defending Roethlisberger by any means, if there were evidence to prove that he is a rapist I would be the first person in line to have him stripped of all he has and strung up, but that wasnt the case. Rice was caught ON TAPE striking his wife, this automatically makes the accusation a truth and Ray Rice a damn coward. Heres my second point and to me the most troubling, some of you are acting like just because it happened once he should still be able to play. Really, what the hell is wrong with all of you?!?!?! He showed his true colors and did something that if I would have done I would be in jail for at longest 2 years. He got a slap on the wrist because he plays a damn game that a handful of my friends and I would play as children. It speaks volumes for the level of a person you are if you are willing to let a thug pass on doing something wrong just so he can play a god damn game! Ok, end of rant.
