So I need a new roomate by the first or second week of April. A little about the place: It is a little under 800 square feet. 2 bedroom, 1 one bath. Second story apartment with a patio. Huge closets with lots of space. Hallway has two closets as well. The best thing about this place is the location (Lloyd district) 10 minutes away from every quadrant in town. The Lloyd Center Max stop is about six blocks away and there are major buslines within minutes of walking. I will be getting the place spruced up with some new curtains and blinds and a deep cleaning before you move in. The rent is $450 a month for the smaller bedroom. Utilities are pretty cheap. Cable/Internet is $50 a month (split of course) and the highest I have ever seen the electric/heat bill was $80 but that was with heavy use during these winter months. If I remember correctly it should be no more than $50 a month and thats aiming high. Utility is split of course. There is no deposit, there is no lease to sign, everything is in my name. Your only move-in cost would be first months rent and prorated utilities. Looking at about $500 to move in. Approximate monthly cost of living would be $510 and is a high estimate. Better to aim high than low. One thing you should consider. I work and go to school full-time so this is NOT a party house. Yea weekends and special occasions are perfectly fine but if people are coming over on a Wednesday night at midnight, you will not be living here very long. Just being honest and up-front. You all know I am not a dictator by any means and I get along with everyone. Male or female roommate, preferably someone in their mid to late twenties and with a good head on their shoulder, or at least have some of their life figured out. We all want balance and stability.
