So I needed a known DNA buccal swab from a very combative arrestee. He had given a written consent but since he was fighting we were sure that hed refuse upon collection. I go into detention ( jail) and ask for him. The sheriffs all laugh and said I was never going to get it that he just fought everyone trying to get him in the cell. They sent in 3 extra sheriffs in case it hit the fan. I sees and hear him hootin and a hollerin. I calmly ask him if he was Xxxx still ranting I spoke soft and told him I was there to help him. He agreed he gave consent and calmly let me collect his DNA. The sheriffs were floored! Shaking their heads as we leave. Im called the jailhouse whisperer lol
