So I posted a video yesterday of a security guard and a Big Y employee restraining a man who from what I gathered, stole some item from the supermarket. The men are holding the man down against his will for over 30 mins before police arrived. The fact that they were holding him down wasnt my main issue. My issue was the manner in which they did so. They pressed his face into the curb and held it/him in place. His body was in the street. His knees were scraped. His pockets were empty. He was unarmed. The security guard was verbally abused, however words are words. So the response to the video has been mixed. In a judicial system that relies on the opinions of a judge and jury based on facts supported by evidence, hopefully every individual involved is given their fair shake.
