So I recently played and then stopped playing Tales of the Abyss for 3DS. I have to say that Im completely disappointed with this game. The visuals are great, the battle system is well done and enjoyable, but the voice acting is horrible, and the story is GARBAGE. I tried. I really did. 45 hours of trying and I still have almost 1/3 of the game to go. That 1/3 left to go with never be gone. I cant do it. Ive never had to do so much backtracking in my life. Its ridiculous. Back and forth and then again. The dialogue is forever explaining some attempted complexity about how this world works and all it does is annoy. The concept had some merit at the beginning but after so many hours it just starts to lose traction and then goes drastically down hill. I had a lot of hope for this game and looked forward to playing it for a long time. Im sad that my first significant experience with a Tales game has been so disappointing.
