So I spent 4 weeks testing an overhead press program from Drew Spriggs, I dont normally do much dedicated shoulder work but figured why not. I ran it every 2nd day and benched every other day as I normally would, wasnt meant to bench but shhh dont tell him. I followed it about 95% (hated the behind the neck push pressing). The result is 8.5kg PB after 4 weeks. Strict press is the hardest thing for me to gain on, original PB 82.5, heres 91kg (200lb as Drew so badly wanted), tried 95kg but it was a massive fail. 78kg BW. All sub maximal weights feel significantly more explosive and stable too. Plus my shoulders look nicer lol. Thanks for the fun month Drew, wonder if itll help my bench?
