So I started playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 lately, and so far I like it quite a bit. There are a lot of game reviewers that are slamming it for no good reason. They are getting on it for one relatively minor game mechanic, and a few bland environments for some reason. It is ridiculous because the game is pretty much better than the first one in a lot of ways and that one got all positive reviews, so it is very baffling. I was on the fence about the game at first because of the reviews, but I am loving it a lot, especially Robert Carlyle as Dracula. This is the scene that sold it for me.
