So I tend not to be too impressed with metal drummers who just throw out blast beats with nauseating, never ending double bass grooves. I just tend to think there is so much skill, technique, and feel that just doesnt come across in that stuff. I am not trying to put down those who play that style, by all means blast away, play the stuff that feels good to you and makes you happy behind your kit, I just prefer a different flavor. However, there are exceptions to every rule and I absolutely found this to be one of them. DAMN!!!!
