So I took Jared to a follow up appointment for his finger. The good news is the doctor misread the X-ray and the break isnt into the growth plate. But he did miss that the break was in 2 places. And the break was set incorrectly so hasnt started any obvious healing. He has now been referred to the hand clinic and given a decent splint. But back tomorrow as its really rubbing. This is going to take at least 4 more weeks to get right and probably longer. Poor kid! Its driving him nuts not being able to play basketball.
