So I tried to clear my copper cartel and apparently it wasnt completely dry after 24hrs. i used it for awhile and noticed the clearcoat was getting dirty. so i tried to wetsand with 3k grit and the clear just chipped and looked worse. I want to remove the clear now and try something else, but I really dont want to alter the engraving, and im afraid both sanding or acetone will take the darkness out of the engraving. anyone have any experience with these things?
