So.......I waited on a family of five last night. Mom, Dad, and three boys (7, 9, 11). A good time was had by all. At the end of the meal, the 11-year old says, What do you get more of, compliments or complaints? I replied back, For me, or the restaurant? He said, For you. I said (tongue in cheek), Always compliments, never complaints. He replied back, I thought so. So about 5 minutes later, the boy says, Here, this is for you. Youre the best waiter I have ever seen. He gave me his $5 Culvers gift card. The Dad left me a 50% tip, and added on the bottom of the signed receipt, You Rock! Thank you, Family Of Five. Its good to know we made each others day.
