So I was challenged by my First Lady, Lady Stacy Austin to share a testimony of how good God has been to me! Wow! My God has truly been good to me!! Oh my goooooooodness!!!! My God is good to me!!! Even in the midst of my trials and heartache, He is always there! He has not forsaken me even when I was willing to give up on Him! He took a young girl who was brought up in church, who was willing to take a drastic change just to fit in and have a story to tell, who had a selfish and unforgiving heart.. He took that girl and mended her heart.. He put me back together the way He saw me not the way I saw me. Too busy trying to fix me and not allowing God to transform me... but when I finally came to Him in full surrender my life took a major change! I thank God for that! Not to mention the things that I didnt go through because I was and I am kept by God!! My God! I sit here and my heart is filled because I am always the one that wants to give an encouraging word and the trial that I face even now.. but God!! Im learning what it means to encourage myself and worship and seek Him not just for knowing His plans for my life but to truly know Him!! He has taken me a girl that is nothing like the rest and He called me to be a witness of His glory!! I dont sound like the typical African American woman when I speak, as I have been told and it truly took an effect on me.. but theres something in me that is determined to share His word regardless of how others see me. Even in being told a little girl like yourself, where did your anointing comes from? You never been through anything! Oh but to be kept by God! Thats my story to tell!! Things that could have and should have.. but God! He has always provided for me.. I can recall going through a time when I had no job and no money but God provided! He has opened doors in my life that no one can touch! Im growing in ministry constantly and I am consistent with this.. I will not turn back! No matter how hard the winds blow or the rains fall! The God I serve is my shelter even in those times!! He has blessed me in so many ways that I cant even understand why He did it but this one thing is true.. He is a promise keeper and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!! I am called out, stand out chic and my name alone is victory! I serve a God that words cannot describe! His love for me stretches far and wide!!! And I love Him forever and always!!! I just love Him!!! Hes my husband, my bestfriend! My bridge over troubled and calm water!!! Even when I walk through the valley of shadow and death.. I know without a doubt Hes right there with me!! So heres my testimony of how good God has been to me!
