So I was just at the post office mailing a package to Poland. I had $60 cash on me thinking it would be plenty. The total came up to $64.85 somehow. I had the $60, but I didnt have my debit card, a credit card, I didnt even have my Paypal card. I asked the dude behind the counter to lay my package to the side so I could drive home quickly and grab $5. As I was about to walk out the door, a nurse that was behind me asked if I needed the $5 because she had cash. I graciously accepted her offer and made the payment of $64.85. I then turned to the nurse, took out my pen and some paper and asked her to give e her address so that I could send her the $5 in the mail. She told me not to worry about it and that she was glad to help out! No matter how many times I asked her, she refused every time. I have always done things like this for people who are in similar jams, but I have never had anyone do something like this for me. I was so thankful and shocked actually because it was so unexpected. She told me to just, Pay It Forward when I see someone in need. I am so happy that a stranger did something like this for me! I believe that God puts people in your life sometimes to remind you that there are still some good folks out there who dont mind helping out. I am gladly awaiting the next time that I get the chance to Pay It Forward on someone who doesnt see the random act of kindness approaching them! This seriously made my day~
