So I was listening to NPR (some of you might laugh at this but knowledge is power), but ANYWAYS :P I heard an interesting study performed at Yale University. Apparently, babies are born with a sense of good versus evil. They conducted an experiment that involved three month old babies and recorded their eye contact with an "evil" looking puppet and another "good" looking puppet. Astonishingly, all of the babies had an average of 5 seconds to stare at the "evil" looking puppet and 33 seconds staring at the "good" looking puppet. Not only that, but get this. BABIES ARE RACISTS! The same babies conducted an experiment with a orange colored cat and a gray colored cat I am not sure exactly it was conducted but turns out that 81% of babies favored the cats that looked like them! Its astonishing, so science has proven that racism is a born factor that every human has, its just the upbringing of their parents and the environment they are surrounded by. Just a word for the day =)
