So I was looking forward to a rare day off tomorrow with little obligation other than cleaning house and laundry with Evan at preschool, and in fact David just asked me what WAS I going to do tomorrow? Then he goes, Oh wait a minute. I have some pictures and stuff for you from the capital. He comes back into the kitchen with two envelopes. One contains some family pictures from swearing-in day, very sweet and typical Evan family picture LOL. Then he states something to the effect that I somehow got volunteered to grade some essays for a contest. That someone just dropped the envelope off at his office for him to give to me. Needles to say Im now reading about 200 short essays/paragraphs to help pick five winners for a state writing contest. So for everyone who continues to ask what am I going to do with myself since Evan is in part time preschool, you can see David does and will keep me very busy. Oh well. He reminded me that I am the one who chose to be an English professor as a career. Love my husband Representative David Derby.
