So I was nominated for this phenomenal ice bucket challenge to raise awareness for ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrigs disease. The purpose of this challenge is to show those involved a glimpse of what it is like to have this adversity in your life, hence the ice water. Having a bucket of ice water dumped on your head is what it is like to face the challenge of ALS, just for a second. That all being said, the challenge is submerse yourself in ice water and donate a small amount of your choice to the cause (at the page; alsa.org/ or any charity of your liking) or opt out of the icy part and do a minimum of $100.
