So I was on my way home from work about an hour ago and this car was tailgating me for miles. I was so worried he was going to hit me, then BOOM he did! We pull over and wouldnt you know it, it was a teenager. At first he tried to jump on me saying, why did you slam on your brakes? Wrong approach buddy! I immediately got my phone out and started looking up the number for Redford PD and he changed his tune. He told me he was running late for work and begged me not to call the police because he didnt want to lose his license or car. Since there was no real damage to Old Blue I decided I would be nice. But before I let him go, the mother in me came out and I lecture him but good!!! I told him at his age and with his limited experience driving he should leave at least 2 car lengths between him and the car in front of him. He look at me as if I was nuts and I actually had to explain why! You would think the accident would have tipped him off. I told him he was lucky he wasnt on his phone because if he had been I would have put him over my knee and beat his ass! He looked terrified and said I bet you would. Then I told him he had to go apologize to Old Blue (my mountaineer) and apologize to me for the way he approached me at first. He thought I was joking. I said he could do that or I would go ahead and call the cops. He did what I asked and even rubbed her bumper where he hit her! Wish I would have recorded it! Have a good evening young man!!
