So I was returning from a food run at 3am. No one on the roads. And I see a dog just walking down the street. So I thought why not stop. He came right to me, VERY sweet. Obviously owned. Has many tags but I think the spot for the address is rubbed off and his name. I did call the phone number and just left a message (I mean it was 4am). Took him in my car and just walked him and put him in one of our dog kennels until hopefully the owners call in the morning. If not, I also called the 24 hour pet registry number on one of the tags and they said I can call back anytime and someone can come pick him up and take him to the shelter here. Hes like some sort of collie mix, but thick and has like a little pit bull tail. Maybe thats the mix. But he is VERY sweet and already just rubbed all over me while I was trying to look at his tags and just laid down in my car :) hope it all works out for the guy in the morning!! I know its a guy because he lifts his legs and pees then does the whole scratch diet over it thing, and it flings far lol
