So I was talking today with my counselor and she shared how I got accepted to CSUMB, while we talked one thing hit me...to get things you never had, you have to do things youve never done. From the streets to jail to being a father Ive struggle to understand what life has store for me, yes Ive grown street smarts, learn to knuckle them up, having a daughter has opened my sensitivity and a son to be firm, but never have I been able to feel important like school makes me feel. I pray that one day I can use my academic accomplishments, and share it into the role in society. This Im sure will be prove to my siblings, friends, homies and kids that any man...can change if he never gives up.
