So I was thinking about that call in the 4th Quarter and I came up with this. I see all my Lions fan friends complaining about the flag and all that jazz. At the same time Suh was playing when he originally was supposed to be suspended. Im not saying A or B was more significant but I believe both were factors of the game. If you take out Suh Dallas wins going away. The Lions had many opportunities yet they couldnt find a way to put them away. Was it the right call? No because the Dallas defender wasnt playing the ball. Also the way Dez Bryant ran on the field after the play was over and the original flag was thrown that should have been 15 yards. Regardless we witnessed a good game for 60 minutes. Detroit has gotten a reputation for being Dirty within the past 5 years, because of lack of discipline from Jim Schwartz. I saw those same Cowboy fans starting s**t for letting Suh play this game. Its the Flipping Playoffs Let Suh play. The game would have been way different without Suh in the lineup. Did you see those back to back sacks??? So pretty much its dead even. If the Lions would have been able to put the game away early we wouldnt be talking about Flag no Flag stuff. Was it Pass Interference I would have called it yes. If you are going to call it and announce it stick with it. If they wouldnt have called it originally it would have at least been consistent. Also you have to know the history of Pete Morelli and his typical Penalties Per Game. Should officiating decide the game, no but did they have a major impact today, YES. At the end of the game Dallas ends up moving on. The worst officiating performance to date is the 2009 NFC Championship game between the Vikings and the Saints and its not even close. Im not taking away anything from the Cowboys by any means. They played a good game and the Lions did too. Your thoughts???
