So I woke up at 7:15am looked at the clock and totally freaked out thinking we overslept and were late for school/carpool/etc. I can’t figure out why my alarm didn’t go off and am kicking myself for forgetting to set it. I go flying into “the children’s wing” opening doors, turning on all lights, etc. and “holler” – get up, get up, get up, we overslept, we are totally late!!!” then go to text Chad’s carpool mom saying “omg, I am soooo sorry we overslept, go without him, I will have to drive him into Tampa myself” when, finally, ‘something’ tells me it is Saturday, D.U.H!!! I do NOT send the text, go back in to the “wing” and say – never mind, it’s Saturday, go back to sleep, turn lights off, shut doors. I might add no one had budged a millimeter anyway. So go back to bed…and now CANNOT sleep, figures, ugh! Feeling relieved yet annoyed…and thus starts another day in the life of Karla M. Gibson...
