So, Im a fitness professional and I help others get healthy and fit through training and the proper fuel. But Im also human. While 90% of my diet is clean, sometimes the crap gets back in. Like when I go to New York for vacation and eat an AMAZING New York bagel every morning for breakfast. When I eat crap, it makes me feel like crap, but usually not right away. I can get away with it for a while.....until I start to feel like Im feeling now. LOUSY! Low energy, poor workout performance, body composition not where it should be based on my training, stomach bloated and my joints hurt. Pain in my body is the final straw for me, so Im kicking it back in tomorrow by starting a 9-DAY (I call it BRUTAL) cleanse. Im not a fan of this program as it doesnt allow for most people to learn new habits and really make a positive and lasting change, but Im putting my head down and getting it done!
