So Im a little crabby today. Priority Mailed a package of layouts on art board to John Workman for lettering on Dec. 30th. The package never arrived and hasnt been seen (or at least scanned and listed) since it left my local post office. Im not mad at the P.O. They do a fine job, all things considered. The last package either Weezie or I could remember going astray was a John Severin package sent to Weezie when she was editing at Warren. So...roughly 37 years ago? Not a bad track record. But this is setting me back a few days, in addition to having to re-border new art board, and add panel borders and balloon placements. Fortunately, I have full size xeroxes of the missing boards, including panel borders and balloon placements. Unfortunately, I dont have a time machine with which to recover the three or four days this is going to cost me in the end. And I like sleep. Meh.
