So, Im back from my annual week off. It was really quite wonderful- all I hoped for and more. Gallivanting with a peach in the ravines , rivers and forests.... Then off to stay with my mum, who, despite her crap memory turned out to be a complete and impressive woman. That may sound odd, but I left home at 17 and have never really spoken to her squarely in 40 odd years. So that was good..Then meeting up with my son, his wife and my two grandkids, the latest for the first time. It is tough to hold down a new job, look after 2 young kids and try to remain at all human, but they are coping. But coming back to my caravan in all this wet, alone , has been quite a toughie. I knew it would be, and it is. Just a few days in and I am already wondering if I can stick it. I will have to somehow reinvent my own life.. hehe ;)
