So, Im beginning to realize that Bardic Performance is a lot more resilient in what you can do in PF than 3.5 was. As long as you can spend that free action (and do whatever Perform skill you use for that performance), you can use your actions otherwise in that round. Spellcasting seems a viable option. In the case of my Tiefling Mindchemist 2/Bard 1, throw a bomb while continuing to play his violin, as itd be 1) Free action: Put violin bow in hand with violin 2) Standard action: Throw bomb. 3) Free action: Grab violin bow with other hand again. 4) Free action: Maintain performance. Leaving his Swift and Move free for whatever that doesnt occupy his hands off-round. Or am I missing my mark on this?
