So Im driving down the interstate this morning around 6:15 (running late for the spay/neuter run) and directly in my path is what looks like the remains of a dead animal that has been hit multiple times which of course caused animal parts to be scattered all over my lane. Well, just my luck, theres a truck passing me and I had no choice but to run right thought all the yuck. Wouldnt you know it?? Its very pungent skunk parts! I get to Wytheville and after dropping off the furbaby in my very smelly car, I decide to get a biscuit before doing a little more Christmas shopping. The girl in the drive thru window is hanging out the window sniffing and says somebody hit a skunk I just smile and say uh that would be me. Embarrassing!!!! Then when Im leaving walmart, the guy bringing the carts back in comments about a skunk smell. Or course, I admit yet again, that its my car. On a positive note, I am completely finished with my Christmas shopping. I just hope none of my purchases today wind up being a bit smelly!
