So, Im entering my fourth month of imaginary health care. Because, if healthcare falls in a forest but no providers can see it in their computer system, does it still exist? Im trying SO HARD to hang in there! But after another 1 1/2 hrs. on hold with the Oregon Health Authority, Im STILL not in the Oregon Health Plan computer system, I STILL dont have access to the insurance I was approved for backdated to January 1. No, not even with the ID number they gave me (providers cannot see me in the system.) And yes, my State Rep, Saras office already spoke with them via phone & email, prior to that Cover Oregon tried. The OHA said that theyve NOW put urgent on my case (which Ive already been told twice) & itll take 1-3 business days. At least this time they took my pharmacy & prescription info & said theyll contact them directly. Im hanging onto the tiniest thread of hope its true. I BELIEVE in the Affordable Care Act & I hear all these wonderful stories about others getting the help they need. I just want to be one of them so badly.
