So, Im having a moral dilemma. It revolves around this whole church protest of the CSU graduation I posted about last night. I want so badly to create a movement of non-protest during the time they will be spewing their hate. Ignoring them is the absolute best possible approach but, I know there are people who will want to stand across the street to shout at them how wrong they are and my message of indifference will never reach those folks. There WILL be a counter-protest (actually, there is already a FB Event set up for it with lots of signups) Dont get me wrong. I would love to tell them my opinion of their actions and tell them how wrong I think they are but, its only that. My opinion. Here are some possible solutions I have come up with. 1. Spread the word as far as you can about completely ignoring them. 2. Call Charley Barnes and his companions of the Honor Guard to bring as many people and American Flags to outnumber them. 3. Bring long poles with sheets tied between them to surround these people for the 45 minutes they have for their protest. I am truly concerned about what will happen during this time. I am afraid that some anti-protester will become violent and this may escalate into something awful and THAT is exactly what the WBC wants. Thoughts? Opinions?
