So Im in line at Walgreens dropping off my prescription and this little old lady (Had to be about 80 years old) was trying to get her meds. Im a little nosey at times, so Im listening to her tell the pharmacist I cant remember what I did with my purse At that point, im feeling bad for the old women because for some reason she reminds me of my grandmother. Thin hair, cane, hard time getting around, the whole nine yards. Just as I drift off thinking about my grandmother, I hear the pharmacist cop an attitude with the lady. The defensive grandson in me wants to jump in the conversation and tell the pharmacist she needs to learn some manners and to be a little nicer to the old lady... Instead, I realised that... In life, there are times when I needed someone to step in and help me out. Now it was my turn to do the same for someone else. As the old lady walked away without her meds, I walked up to the counter and paid for my stuff and old ladies medicine. If you guys would have seen the old ladies face when I tapped her on the shoulder and gave her the medicine... lol. Oh, and on top of that, I got a little hug out of the deal :)
