So, Ive been named several times for the ice bucket challenge. Why havent I done it? Im a fun loving guy, and many of the videos had me laughing my ass off, however, even though this may offend a few of you, I treat the ALS foundation in the same manner in which I treat paid fundraisers who are constantly pestering the shit out of me at the shop... I hang up!! I dont donate once a year, or when Im challenged to do so. I donate EVERY MONTH to things in the community that are important to me. High school cheerleaders & sports teams, church sports teams, wounded warriors, the homeless shelter, the suicide prevention walks that my cousins are involved in, and shop with a cop, to name a few. Notice a trend? I dont donate to any organization that retains a CEO with a 6 figure salary. I dont have a pile of money to throw around, so I like to know that the money that I donate is put to good use in something thats important in my local community. That is all......
