So, Ive deleted all my selfies from my instagram except for one with my brother. Im about to delete most of my selfies on here unless they are significant to me in some way. Ive just learned some things this summer. Ive found myself to be more confident in who I am as a person. I dont need the reassurance of others in terms of an aspect so transitory as pulchritude, or physical appearance. Not only this, but looking back at how many selfies I have makes me sad. I dont want to be so consumed by this type of reassurance. Well, so yeah. Im going to go ahead and start the deletion process. And from this point forward, im not going to be partaking in selfies unless its with someone or there is some form of importance as to why the picture has been taken.
