So Ive learned that just as in the realm of Christianity. There are literally 100s if not thousands if views (aka denominations) And within those denominations are those who are filled with live and truth. And there are those who are flat out cult with in the stricture. The difference being within Protestantism we have 33000 denominations within that are good solid Christians and then there are cults such as Jehovah Witness, and Mormons that are within Protestantism However in messianic community there really isnt a division as there is in Protestantism I suppose its because they wouldnt know what to call it? So like you have mainline messianic which is the good guys and then there are splinter shoots off that that are cultish they insist on Torah for salvation, they even hold to cult theology such as Arianism, and the such. Whats sad though is that messianics get lumped into one sum because there arent the dividing names even though they are dividing sects. Now I was talking to someone and somethings were said that got me thinking as to just how to identify these cultists. The Mormons say the bible is correct in as long as that which has been properly translated. The Jehovah Witnesses say the bible is not for private interpretation and cannot be understood without the guidance of the watchtower and awake. Now there are groups of messianics who make both of these claims at the same time and stronger. They say the bible is grossly mistranslated, and that you can only understand the bible by our interpretation. Thats how you know. If they are calling Christians evil, wicked and a product of satan, and claim that the only truth is through them. Get away and run as fast as you can.
