These are songs that have had a huge impact on me and/or just mean a lot to me. 11 songs in specific was a little tough cause theres just too many. But, here goes: 1. Echoes : Pink Floyd, this song is by far my favorite PF song and quiet possibly the best song ever written. 2. Moonlata Sonata: Beethovan , Considering this was written when he was almost deaf is just mind blowing and the music is sublime. 3. Take me somewhere nice : Mogwai , Melancholy at its best. 4. Trains : Porcupine Tree , Technically Brilliant band with foot tapping music. 5. Any other name : Thomas Newman , featured in American Beauty, words can fall short to describe how beautiful this song is. 6. The Raven that refused to sing: Steven Wilson, again is a gem of a song by this genius guy, this track explores the story of an old man at the end of his life who is waiting to die and this extraordinary love for this elder sister. 7. Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath , Because Black Sabbath. 8. Trouble: Ray LaMontagne, This song speaks about a guy who is saved by a women from his trouble. How many times have we come across this? 9.
