So, Louder Than Life was all it could be for an inaugural festival. Next year will be even better. Awesome thanks to Jess Cahill and Michael Alvey for hanging with us, you guys rock. Of course Korn was my number one, they put on one hell of a performance and really have matured since the last time I saw them in 2007. Bizkit was cool, but only played from Chocolate Starfish, which isnt a problem, but we could have used some Three Dollar Bill. I was surprised by STP with Chester Bennington. They exceeded my expectations and took me back to 1994. I am disappointed we missed #Nonpoint, but we did get to hear the end of their set from the car. And for those who dont know Steel Panther, they are true performers and really lock in that 80s hair band nostalgia. Of course, their songs are the highlight if you dont mind excessive awesome nastiness. Fuel, Pop Evil, and Theory of A Deadman rounded out my day one and didnt disappoint. Day 2 was a quick decision, we took the boys, and saw Hellyeah, P.O.D, and Buckcherry. It was an awesome experience, but the body is tired now. Oh and my face still hurts after getting kicked by a random crowd surfer. Next month, Slipknot and Korn.
