My little GG Emma had a rough few days, she started vomiting early Wednesday morning (12/24) Thursday still vomiting (12/25) her momma took her to ER for fluids, she was very dehydrated. While there Dr took X-ray and discover a coin (quarter) lodged in Emmas throat. she had a squad ride to Childrens hospital because they were afraid the coin would move and block her airwaves. when she arrived at Childrens they had to do a scope under sedation to remove the coin, it was lodged pretty good and caused some erosion to esophagus, she had to stay overnight to monitor her. I was at a loss as to why she would put a coin in her mouth she is a smart girl, this is the only thing her mommy could think of, Emma lost a tooth and she was reading about the tooth fairy leaving chocolate quarters. she doesnt want to talk about it or ever go to the hospital again. no more quarters from the tooth fairy. needless to say Christmas day was a difficult day for the Spring and Wohlford families. Thank God she is as good as new and thanks for all the prayers...
