So Rhiannon and I launched the Erics Circle campaign two days ago, raising money to help Eric Brown and Lisa Cowley make their home accessible as Erics ALS progresses. We started with an overall goal of $35,000 by November, and $10,000 by the time school starts in August. I kinda thought both of those were ambitious goals. As of this morning, were at $9,003. In two days. Holy smokes! Weve seen donations from people close to Eric and Lisa, and people theyve never met. Donations have ranged from single digits to over a thousand -- every one intensely appreciated. If were going to get to $35,000, its going to take donations big and small, from close friends and from strangers. The support is truly amazing, and it speaks to how much Eric is loved.
