Waverley Youth Fishing Festival – Cash Prizes For Tagged Fish! The Waverley Youth Fishing Festival has been developed to provide children in Launceston aged 6 – 16 with an opportunity to enjoy some recreational fishing with the challenge of catching fish that have been tagged with money prizes. Registrations will be able to be done on the day. There is no cost to register Come along on Saturday December 6th for a great day of fishing and fun at the Waverley Lake located right next door to the school. The event will run from 7am – 7pm and is proudly supported by Community Housing Limited, Fisheries Tasmania and Waverley Primary School. Children aged 6 – 12 must be accompanied by a /parent/guardian and security will be present on the day to ensure safety of those attending. Waverley Primary School will be doing a BBQ with food and drinks and snack items available so please come along and support this event
