So Riggs, our Pointer, several weeks ago, caught himself a full grown rabbit. While I was trying to get him to come into the house at 4 30 am in the morning, I noticed this rabbit dangling out of his mouth. Riggs proceeded to avoid me as I called him and tried to chase him. Moments later he came to the back door with only a half of rabbit. Head, ears front legs and half a body. He tried to come into the house with it. As I yelled Drop it! In a stern and loud voice, he began to crunch away and completely swallow everything. I threw up in my mouth a bit. So I quarantined him in the kitchen just in case it came out either way. Needless to say, everything was digested. Because of his antics, the little bastard has worms now and all three dogs are being treated. He must be a Democrat. He took an innocent live, got rid of the body and passed his sickness to his fellow family members. Or maybe he is a Kennedy.
