So Rob and I were in walmart and a group of boys walked up to us and handed us an envelope and in it was a gift card for $5.00 the envelope was this! I got on here today and wrote this to the boys church Sedley Baptist Church and wanted to share it with all of you this Christmas!!! Good Morning! I wanted to take a moment to tell you of a wonderful incident last night at the Walmart in Franklin, VA! So my husband and I were in there shopping and trying to hurry as our 13 yr old daughter was at her church act teens group we were in the front of the store picking gift cards for a bunch of family up in NY! A kid walked by us and handed my husband an envelope and said Merry Christmas and we returned his wish and hurried back to picking these cards! When we left the store and opened our envelope we found a $5.00 gift cArd within it! I want to first off say we are sorry for not reacting fast enough! We were a bit startled and not expecting that! I was so very touched by this act of kindness that I had to come on here and thank you! Thanks to your church and to these amazing kids you taught me to remember Christmas is not about expensive gifts and flashy presents CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT JESUS it is about giving and not expecting anything in return! I never understood what they meant by you have never really given until you give something to someone that you can never return it I understood last night! I can never return the gift those children gave me last night! However I can learn the lesson and spread the word! I too, can also give a random stranger a small token of kindness without expecting anything in return! With the world so messed up these days I never expected a RACK from anyone let alone a young boy! My heart and that of my husbands have been enriched by this beautiful lesson we were given! Ot brightens my face with a smile to see the beautiful teachings of your church! My husband and I appreciate your generosity and beautiful lesson that was given to us! We wanted you to know how very much it meant to us! Thank you to this group who restored my faith in humanity and shared a glimmer if hope with me last night! Maybe, just maybe the entire world is not doomed and should follow in your footsteps to make this world a better place! God bless each member and their family this Holiday season and remember- Jesus is the reason for the season! Thanks for this reminder!!! Thanks for blessing us! It has been a tough year and we gave endured many hardships as my husband had some medical issues and had major back surgery! We were unsure how to afford this season, but then again we were reminded last night how blessed we are! Please read this to your church I want this boy to know he gave me the greatest gift of all and we will never forget it!!! :-) thank you little one for that special gift and lesson!!!
