So Saturday night I handed in my badge and I quit my current - TopicsExpress

So Saturday night I handed in my badge and I quit my current employment. Ive been thinking about doing so for a while, but its finalized as of now. I saved up enough money to allow myself to live here for 8 months without worry, though strict on budgeting, it can be done. So, for the next 8 months I have decided I am going to see exactly what I can do with The Underground Vault. I created a schedule, and I will treat this like any other job, and probably put 10x the effort into it. I have said over the last few months that I want something to become of it, and here is my chance. Theres a few additions Ill be adding to the channel, or maybe increases is a better term. First off, Im going to be uploading a LOT more content, I mean a lot more, my schedule I have in place allows time for an album review, track reviews on newly released singles, news bits, unboxings, and a Q&A on a daily basis. Yes, I understand this will be a lot of videos, and maybe weed some people out, but I have come to the conclusion that it will drive a larger audience in the long run, and will allow me to support everything I want to support. Im going to be focusing a lot more on getting advancements for releases, so I can review an album for, or before the release date. This can be difficult at times, and many reviews will have to be done afterwards still, but I will do what I can, and I will reach out to those in charge. (On this note, if by any chance you are an A&R rep, Manager, or promoter of any sort that wishes to add me to a mailing list of some sort for future releases, inbox me, please.) The last thing in addition to the abundance of content, I am also going to be focusing a lot more on interviews. Interviews have not been done often on the channel up until now, and the reason being is I was uncomfortable with the medium in which they were executed. I believe I have come to a happy solution and Im going to be reaching out to larger artists and artists that I find will be most suitable for those that check on the channel. In the midst of all of this, promotion will be key. Im going to dedicate certain time slots of each day to marketing and answering every comment posted on FB, Twitter, and of course YouTube. The Facebook page is growing, at a steady rate as of now, but would like to see it become larger as time goes on. About a month or so back I got roughly 10-15 Admins to post on the FB Page, Id like to bump this up to about 35 to keep the page fresh, and consistent with new posts. If you wish to support, and keep up to date with hip-hop, please let me know and all that is asked is you post new shit you find (Album info, singles, updates, tour info, etc.). Im working with Mike Trampe of MikeTrampeTV, Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, OK-Tho, and also MAT Magazine in the coming year. I hope this will allow myself to gain the boost in which I wish to attain. Thank you to everyone that is with me right now for this, the videos will only improve, and become more consistent as time goes on. Im going to be uploading shit as they happen, break exclusives, and really see what I can make of this. Please note, I do the channel because I love it. I love supporting underground hip-hop, I love the idea of what I envision the channel to become, and I think its needed. I didnt set out to do the channel for money, however I realize that if I want the channel to become what I want it to become, then it will require my full undivided attention, and it will require me to be able to sustain myself eventually from it. Special thanks for Mike Trampe, Steven Parris, Chris McCormick, James Shelkett Jr., Phillip Gutgesell, Piccochi Musicllc, Tom Minko, Jason Wile and everyone else that has shown even the smallest amount of support. You know who you are. Lets go!
