So? The idea apparently now is to .... a. Act vigilant for a couple of weeks until the high time lasts and show nation meanwhile that Army is committed and counterattacking and eliminating terrorists every single day. The son of the soil and defenders of the nation are always there to protect the state. Arent they? b. The Government is efficient and to prove that lets hang a bunch out of those 7000+ terrorists in custody to calm down the masses and meanwhile shout out loud by organising some joint sessions and adopt an apologetic tone while dealing with west for it is necessary to keep obedient to them and their interests. c. The Mullas are out too and protesting and chanting and making claims, so that God forbid if by any chance anyone accidentally suggests to regulate and monitor religious institutions overall without discrimination, they can prove that their brand is not the one to worry about. The business should not suffer. d. The media as usual is doing it job by confusing nation over the identity of enemy. It is India? India sponsored? Israel? RAW? Mossad? Foreigners? Uzbek? 3 days and nation is divided over the identity of enemy. A ton of conspiracy theories already. No unanimous consent. Lets get some bucks from where ever you can and lets beat the confusion shit out of this already confused nation. e. IK is a hero somehow because he decided to abandon protests (which would have otherwise toppled everything?). Lets not forget to sing a couple of songs for him. And meanwhile A can say that B was the one always aligning with Taliban and B can say it was C and C can say it was always A and B who had links and who encouraged them and all have evidence. Lets score some political points over these dead bodies. And till things get back to normal lets all play along. For the best quality of this nation is that it is very quick in reacting and even more quicker in forgetting and continuing. Weather it is Raymond Davis, Shahzeb Jatoi or infinite terrorist attacks we had in past or whatever. Soon, very soon this all will be forgotten and it will merely an other incident in our dark history. And it feels sick, absolute sick to realise that. P.S. I forgot that Army has a helpline now where one can report secretly about suspicious or provoking terrorist activities. But they forgot to watch TV shows with Lal Masjid Cleric on them. Unfortunately.
